Key issues included an inadequate payment processing system, resulting in a payment success rate below industry standards, as well as inefficiencies in shipping speeds and customs regulations
The Solution
DSQUARED2 partnered with ESW to deliver a customised and comprehensive solution, leveraging ESW’s expertise in supporting luxury brands. Despite a tight integration timeline involving a new logistics provider and system integrator, ESW enabled expansion into 76 countries while managing domestic ecommerce in Italy.
Key to this success was ESW’s Importer of Record services in the US, which streamlined the importation of high‑value items and mitigated risk. ESW also introduced Ship‑from‑Store capabilities, resulting in a 12% GMV increase within the first four months.

Payment processing improved significantly, achieving a 4% increase in success rates above industry standards. Conversion rates increased by 8 percentage points over one year, while customer satisfaction ratings rose from 1.5 to 4 on Trustpilot.
